Michael Raju is a postdoctoral researcher in the Biophotonics team of Prof Stefan Andersson-Engels. Michael received his PhD degree (supervised by Prof Stefan) in 2022 from University College Cork – National University of Ireland, Cork (UCC). His PhD thesis was on the modelling aspects of wave transport in random media for wavefront shaping applications. He received his research master’s degree from Indian Institute of Technology-Madras, India. His bachelor’s degree is in electronics and communication engineering. Michael works on the theory and modelling of wave propagation through disordered media to understand its statistical aspects.
