Sinéad Ryan is the Education & Public Engagement Officer for IPIC (currently out on maternity leave) and leads all activities spanning primary and secondary school audiences as well as third level students and the general public. As part of this role, Sinéad works locally with the team to develop and drive the strategic vision for the EPE programme at IPIC. In addition, she works with our partners across other SFI Research Centres, as well as local, national and international organisations and companies driving STEM initiatives. As part of an ongoing commitment to developing new programme content, Sinéad is also interested in exploring new partnerships and opportunities with others in the STEM/STEAM space. Sinéad graduated from UCC with a B.Sc. and PhD in Neuroscience. She completed postdoctoral training in Trinity College Dublin funded by the Irish Research Council.
