Annisa joined the Biophotonics group at Tyndall National Institute as a PhD student under CDT PIADS. Her research theme is to develop machine learning-based imaging analytics to be used with micro camera for biophotonics application. Currently she is working on a convolutional neural network for segmentation of biological features.
She is supervised by Simon Toft Sorensen from Tyndall and Jesus Martinez del Rincon from Queen’s University Belfast.
Annisa received a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Engineering Physics with focus in Photonics from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, Indonesia, in 2017. She received her MSc degree in Abbe School of Photonics, Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena in Germany.
