Darpan Mishra joined the III-V Materials and Devices group at Tyndall National Institute in September 2022 as a postdoctoral researcher under the supervision of Brian Corbett. Darpan is presently involved in the TAPESTRY project, focusing on the tether design and experiment for transfer printing applications. His research interest lies in the field of optical fibres, semiconductor optoelectronic devices, silicon photonics and photonic integrated circuits.
He received his Ph.D. degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering in March 2021 from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. Prior to Joining Tyndall, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.
