Leidy Rodriguez

Researcher

Leidy Rodriguez is currently a Marie Curie Sparkle fellow under the supervision of Prof. Liam Barry in the Radio & Optical Communications Laboratory at Dublin City University. As a postdoctoral fellow, she is working on random number generation using lasers subjected to optical feedback. Her research interests include laser dynamics with optical feedback and microwave signal generation. Leidy is also involved in research collaborations with the National Institute for Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics in Mexico and the Laboratoire des Physique des Lasers at Université Sorbonne Paris Nord in France.
Leidy received her master’s degree in Optomechatronics from the Centre for Research in Optics in Guanajuato, Mexico. She successfully completed her doctoral degree in Electronics with a focus on Optical Communications from the National Institute for Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics in Puebla, Mexico.
