Nidhya Mathew

PhD Researcher

Nidhya Mathew is a PhD student in MCCI, Tyndall National Institute. Her studentship is funded by Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) under the Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Photonic Integration and Advanced Data Storage (PIADS).   Her project is titled “Compact Multi-Spectral Imaging for surgical guidance and diagnostics”, her research focuses on power converter circuits driven to micro camera. She is currently investigating resonance based switched capacitor converters, aiming to come up with an excellent solution in terms of area, power and performance.
Outside of her work, she enjoys travel, especially to mountainous areas. She also has a passion for cooking, gardening and reading fictional novels.
