Sini Nanadath Shibu

PhD Researcher

Sini Nanadath Shibu is a Ph.D. student in Cork Institute of Technology and is currently working in CAPPA at Tyndall National Institute under the supervision of Dr. Tomasz J. Ochalski. She completed her Bachelor’s in Physics and Master’s in Photonics in India and started her Ph.D. in CAPPA. Currently, she is working in a Dairy dry project – “Development of new photonics-based sensor technology for characterizing powder hydration and monitoring in-line” funded by Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, CIT. The work of Ms. Nanadath Shibu is associated with national and European projects related to diamond powders. The European H2020 RISE D-SPA project entitled “Diamond-based nanomaterials and nanostructures for advanced electronic and photonic applications” collaborating with different Universities in China and the United Kingdom. Her research interests include Nanophotonics, advanced laser, and spectroscopy techniques and ultrafast optics.
