Sumedha Chanda joined as PhD student in the Biophotonics group under the supervision of Dr. Katarzyna Komolibus and Co-Supervision of Dr. Rekha Gautam along with Professor Stefan Anderson-Engels. She is working with light-based technologies for advancing medical diagnostics and surgeries. Passionate about interdisciplinary research, Sumedha aims to develop a novel Multimodal optical tools for advancing healthcare.
She has completed her master of technology in Photonics Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK).
