Thomas is currently a PhD student under Prof. Peter Parbrook working on the growth and modelling of BGaN for the emission in the Ultraviolet range. He is also a member of the Centre for doctoral training (CDT) in Photonics Integration and Advanced Data Storage (PIADS) which is composed of members from Queens University Belfast, University of Glasgow and Tyndall National Institute.
Thomas graduated from University College Cork with a joint honours BSc in Applied Mathematics and Physics.
