Xing Ouyang works as a Researcher in the Photonic Systems Group. His current research interests includes information theory and advanced DSP techniques, such as modulation formats, OFDM, OCDM, and channel equalization, and their applications for future high-speed fiber-optic and wireless systems.
In 2017, Xing received his Ph.D. degree in electrical and electronic engineering from Tyndall National Institute, University College Cork, Cork, Ireland. During his PhD, he was with the Photonic Systems Group, Tyndall National Institute, involved in advanced digital signal processing technology for next-generation fiber-optic communication.
In 2016, he joined Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, working on the “Car-to-Car WiFi: Multi-Hop Video Streaming” project.
