Conor Russell

Conor Russell is pursuing a PhD in bringing cost effective coherent detection to access networks by using self-homodyne coherent detection  He is working within the Photonics Systems group, under the supervision of Prof. Paul Townsend and Dr. Cleitus Antony. 

Conor received his bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from University College Cork (UCC) in 2019. In 2021, he obtained a master’s degree in Photonics Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU).
